Counselling Fees

The first session with your counsellor will be a consultation to understand more about you, your background and discuss the issues you're currently facing with a view to establishing where to focus in future sessions, should you agree to go ahead.

All therapy sessions are based on the 'counselling hour' which is 50 minutes, including the initial consultation. Fees for initial consultations and therapy sessions vary depending on the counsellor you see. Our Senior Practitioners who are our most experienced therapists and fully accredited with relevant counselling associations are Bronwen Anthony, Karen Richards and Vincent Tanner - please see their profile pages for further details. In addition, our Senior Practitioners are registered with a number of medical insurers whose fees are fixed at the insurer's rate - please ask your counsellor for details.

A range of counselling fees is included below however please refer to your counsellor to discuss their fees for your session.

Payment Terms

Payment is accepted by the therapist after each session ends by bank transfer, cash or cheque.

Missed and cancelled sessions

As a practice, we ask for a week’s notice if you are unable to attend the following week. Please speak to your therapist regarding their specific cancellation policy which will also be provided in their Terms and Conditions.
